Veronica Portugal

Veronica is the CEO and founder of Paideia Civica a nonprofit that has the mission to create capacities in civil society and innovative programs that can bring engagement and changes in policy. She holds a degree in Political Science and a degree in Economics from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México(ITAM). In 2017, she was fellow of the Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative launched by the US Department of State. Veronica was delegate in the Organization of the American States Summit in Lima and speaker in the topic of anticorruption in the civil society summit of G20 in Argentina and Saudi Arabia representing her organization. She also was fellow of the Asian Forum of Global Governance in India and speaker in the Women Economic Forum LATAM in Colombia, Speaker in NGO CSW65 and a TEDx Speaker. Previously, she worked for the Mexican Government in the Ministry of Social Development and the Mexican Institute of Social Security.
